Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces following established hospital procedures and infection control standards.
- Complete discharge cleaning of inpatient rooms and prepare rooms efficiently for new patient admissions.
- Set up and reconfigure patient rooms as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment to ensure it remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damaged furniture, or facility maintenance concerns to the supervisor or manager promptly.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Support a positive patient and visitor experience through exceptional housekeeping services.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or Environmental Services (EVS) experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including rotating weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
