Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Antioch, CA Sutter Health Delta Medical Center, 3901 Lone Tree Way
Schedule: Onsite | Rotating shifts (7:00 AM, 3:00 PM, 11:00 PM) | 40 hrs/week | 26 weeks
Requirements:
Ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights
Ability to work full-time 40 hours per week
Experience with environmental services or housekeeping in a healthcare or similar setting
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
Ability to follow prescribed cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Ability to respond to urgent cleaning requests and support facility operations
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Requirements:
1 years experience with hospital or medical facility housekeeping
Experience with infection control practices and sanitation standards
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemical handling procedures
Ability to support team operations in absence of lead or supervisor
Experience working in large facilities or high-volume environments
Summary / Duties:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining assigned areas of the medical center in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. This role follows established procedures to complete daily cleaning tasks, ensuring compliance with healthcare sanitation and infection control standards. The position supports overall facility operations by responding to special cleaning requests and maintaining workflow efficiency. Housekeepers may also assist with delegated responsibilities in the absence of a lead or manager. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts across days, evenings, and nights, while consistently delivering thorough and timely environmental services in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
