Job Summary


As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest has a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and maintaining hotel cleanliness in accordance with Comfort Suites and Choice Hotels brand standards.


Essential Responsibilities

•  Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently. 
•  Make beds according to Comfort Suites brand standards. 
•  Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors. 
•  Dust and sanitize all furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces. 
•  Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface floors. 
•  Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and guest room amenities. 
•  Remove trash and replace liners. 
•  Check rooms for maintenance concerns and report any issues immediately. 
•  Ensure rooms are fully guest-ready before marking them as clean. 
•  Follow all housekeeping procedures and hotel safety guidelines. 
•  Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and work area. 
•  Work as part of a team to complete daily assignments while maintaining quality standards. 

Qualifications

•  Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 
•  Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. 
•  Strong attention to detail. 
•  Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. 
•  Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 
•  Weekend and holiday availability is required. 
•  Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
