Job Summary
As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest has a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and maintaining hotel cleanliness in accordance with
Comfort Suites and Choice Hotels brand standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently.
- Make beds according to Comfort Suites brand standards.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Dust and sanitize all furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface floors.
- Restock towels, linens, toiletries, and guest room amenities.
- Remove trash and replace liners.
- Check rooms for maintenance concerns and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure rooms are fully guest-ready before marking them as clean.
- Follow all housekeeping procedures and hotel safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and work area.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily assignments while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
