Housekeeper (FT/PT, Year-Round)

wo Capes Lookout is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate has previous professional housekeeping experience, works efficiently and independently, and understands the high level of cleanliness and attention to detail expected in hospitality.

We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants and can offer some flexibility with scheduling for the right person.

What You'll Do

• Clean and prepare guest accommodations to a high standard
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest supplies
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other guest areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and perform other routine cleaning tasks
• Inspect rooms and accommodations to ensure they are guest-ready
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing supplies
• Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
• Follow established cleaning procedures and standards
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Help maintain clean and organized common areas when needed
• Communicate with the team regarding room status and guest needs

Requirements

• Previous professional housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a hotel, vacation rental, or other hospitality setting
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working at a steady pace while maintaining high cleaning standards
• Friendly, professional, and respectful of guests and coworkers
• Flexible and willing to help wherever needed
• Able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, and perform the physical requirements of housekeeping work
• Available to work weekends and holidays as needed
