Housekeeper

Our client is a lovely family seeking an experienced Housekeeper to clean and care for their home.

The right candidate will bring prior experience in a refined private residence or similar household setting, along with excellent communication skills. You must be a team player.

Key duties include keeping the home beautifully clean and well organized, managing household laundry, and performing deep cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, laundry, linen care, and household organization to the highest standards.
• Help maintain a smooth daily operation and communicate proactively regarding household needs, preferences, or maintenance concerns.
• Work closely with the household team to ensure seamless coverage, consistent standards, and an orderly, guest-ready home.
• Assist with household inventories, supply management, and routine provisioning as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar private household or luxury hospitality environment (boutique hotel, yacht, etc.).
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a household team.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent standards, discretion, and a service-minded approach.
• Must have strong English communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a home with dogs and children.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

• Compensation ranges from $45 to $48 per hour, based on experience, and includes a benefits package with health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Schedule

• Generally, Monday through Friday
• 8 am to 4 pm with some flexibility on start time
• Some ability to offer weekend coverage a plus but not required
