What You'll Do

• Clean resident apartments and common areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust
• Clean bathrooms, windows, glass, walls, and baseboards
• Make beds and change linens
• Empty trash and restock supplies
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment
• Use cleaning products according to safety guidelines
• Report maintenance or safety concerns
• Observe and report changes in residents that may require nursing attention
• Assist during emergency situations when needed

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals and work in an area where an animal resides, i.e., cats, dogs, birds, etc.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing for most of the workday, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing housekeeping carts, and working safely with cleaning products.
