Housekeeper - Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge

Are you passionate about creating welcoming, spotless spaces for guests to relax and enjoy nature? Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge is looking for dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in beautiful South Georgia.

Nestled in both Wheeler and Telfair counties just outside of McRae-Helena, our lodge is a nature lover’s paradise. With scenic hiking trails, championship golf, fishing, mini golf, and so much more, we offer the perfect escape—and you can be a key part of making that experience exceptional.

Position Overview

As a Room Attendant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms, cabins, and public areas. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you'll play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment that reflects the natural beauty of our park.

Key Responsibilities

• Make beds and change linens in accordance with lodge standards

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces thoroughly and efficiently

• Dust, vacuum, and clean carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstery

• Replenish room amenities and supplies

• Replace light bulbs, remove trash, and restock housekeeping carts

• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items

• Conduct final checks to ensure rooms are guest-ready

What We’re Looking For

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling demanding tasks

• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
