Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers for a premier hotel in South Tulsa. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms and public areas while providing professional and courteous service to hotel guests.
The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail, and is comfortable with a rotating schedule that may include different days throughout the week. Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is preferred.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Hotel or upscale hospitality experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to clean rooms efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Excellent organization and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to respond appropriately to guest requests

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clean and maintain hotel guest rooms
Clean hallways and assigned public areas
Change bed linens and make beds
Replace towels and other room linens
Replenish guest amenities and room supplies
Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Vacuum carpets and flooring
Mop applicable floor surfaces
Clean and sanitize bathrooms
Clean mirrors, counters, and other guest-room surfaces
Remove trash and replace liners
Prepare rooms for arriving guests
Maintain cleanliness according to hotel standards
Report maintenance problems or safety hazards promptly
Handle guest requests professionally and discreetly
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
Communicate room status or concerns to supervisors
Work with other Housekeepers to support timely room turnover
Follow all hotel safety policies and procedures
Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned
Guest Room Responsibilities
Housekeepers are responsible for preparing rooms to established hotel standards, including:
Making beds
Changing linens
Replacing towels
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
Dusting surfaces
Vacuuming and mopping
Emptying trash
Replenishing amenities
Checking overall room cleanliness
Preparing rooms for guest arrival
Attention to small details is important to creating a clean and welcoming guest experience.
Public Area Cleaning
Depending on daily assignments, Housekeepers may also clean:
Hallways
Common areas
Guest-accessible spaces
Other assigned hotel areas
Associates are expected to maintain a professional appearance and remain courteous when working around hotel guests.
Guest Service Responsibilities
Greet and interact with guests professionally
Respond courteously to routine guest requests
Maintain discretion when working in occupied or guest-accessible areas
Respect guest belongings and privacy
Report concerns to appropriate hotel personnel
Help maintain a positive and welcoming hotel environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Hotel Housekeeper experience
Hospitality housekeeping experience
Upscale or luxury hotel experience
Commercial cleaning experience
Guest service experience
Previous room-turnover experience
Experience working from housekeeping checklists or room assignments
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to make beds and perform repetitive cleaning movements
Ability to move cleaning supplies and equipment throughout the hotel
Physical stamina required to clean multiple rooms throughout the workday
Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment
Comfortable performing physically active housekeeping work throughout the shift
Schedule Requirements
Typical hours of 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Days worked will vary according to a rotating schedule
Candidates must have flexibility regarding assigned workdays
Reliable attendance is essential due to daily hotel room-turnover requirements

Regular interaction with guests, Housekeepers, supervisors, and other hotel personnel
