Housekeeper Janitor (part-time)

Must be available to work on some weekends.

Housekeeper/Janitor- we’re willing to train, come join our team! New grads are welcome.

Position Summary:

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to assure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for all patients and visitors.

 

Qualifications: 

• operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.)
• Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style
• Desire to keep workplace clean and safe

Responsibilities:

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, etc.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record all serviced rooms/areas
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and/or patient change in conditions
• Handles reasonable guests’ complaints/requests and informs others when required to ensure patient and guest satisfaction
