Housekeeper

The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center (Formally Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center) located in Lewis Center, Ohio is searching for a Housekeeper to join our team! We are offering a $500 sign on bonus!!

Our attractive compensation package includes a $17.50 hourly wage, access to health benefits, PTO and 6 paid Holiday's (full-time only), 401K with up to 4% company match, dining and travel discounts AND free meals and free parking!

Job Summary: 

Performs housekeeping duties to accommodate guest needs when cleaning a checkout or stayover room. Primarily ensures that guest satisfaction is met with regards to cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

• Accommodate guest/departmental needs/requests by responding to requests.
• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning by making beds, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning bathroom, cleaning closet, vacuuming, etc.
• Checks and secures the rooms.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing board.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
• Confirm with front desk once tasks are complete.
