Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a full-time Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), working 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an every-other-weekend requirement.

Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner and that our residents and their personal belongings are handled with respect and care.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident-related care information to ensure residents’ rights are protected.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff when performing routine assignments in resident areas.
• Work weekend hours in laundry.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
