Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Assistant General Manager


Job Summary
At Goodstone Inn & Restaurant, housekeeping is not just cleaning—it’s creating a guest experience. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for ensuring every guest room and common space reflects the elevated, boutique standard that defines Goodstone.


This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details others miss, and understands that cleanliness, presentation, and comfort directly impact the guest experience.


Key Responsibilities
  •  Clean and service guest rooms, cottages, and public areas to Goodstone standards 
  •  Make beds, change linens, and refresh rooms with attention to detail and presentation 
  •  Clean bathrooms, kitchens (in select cottages), and living spaces thoroughly and consistently 
  •  Restock linens, towels, and guest amenities 
  •  Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including lobby spaces, walkways, and pool house 
  •  Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly 
  •  Support laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens 
  •  Assist team members across the property when needed to ensure overall readiness 
  •  Ensure all rooms are guest-ready on time and meet quality expectations 
  •  Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols 
What We’re Looking For
  •  Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality a plus, but not required) 
  •  Strong attention to detail (this is non-negotiable) 
  •  Ability to work independently and stay on task without constant supervision 
  •  Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed 
  •  Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented 
  •  Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities 
  •  Ability to take feedback and continuously improve 
Schedule Expectations
  •  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays 
  •  Shifts will primarily be daytime, with occasional variation based on occupancy 
Work Environment
  •  Boutique inn setting with multiple buildings and outdoor spaces 
  •  Work is performed both indoors and outdoors across the property 
  •  Fast-paced during peak occupancy and events 
Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods 
  •  Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds 
  •  Frequent use of hands for cleaning, lifting, and organizing
