Housekeeper - Part Time

$17-$19 per hour

Overview

Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning community facilities and buildings to ensure the community remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

Job Duties

• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks kitchen areas with paper products (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks bathrooms, including ensuring they are well lit and rubber mats are in place to ensure safety (Essential)
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Immediately reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, incidents/accidents, and/or defective equipment to Community Manager or immediate supervisor (Essential)
• Ensures the general property appearance is well maintained and orderly
• Sweeps, mops, waxes, and buffs floors as needed
• Cleans windows and screens, ensuring they are in functioning order
• Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and handling routine maintenance
• Ensures all offices are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed
• Ensures that all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes, apartments, or other large facilities (Preferred)
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
• Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial work
• Must have a valid drivers license
