    Description

    24 hours per week: 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm including weekend and holiday rotations. 

    What You'll Do:

    • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
    • Vacuum, dust, disinfect, and move furniture to maintain a clean and aseptic environment.
    • Follow infection prevention practices, PPE requirements, and safety protocols.
    • Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with policies.
    • Stock patient rooms and maintain housekeeping supplies.
    • Launder, store, and distribute linens and towels.
    • Report maintenance concerns, repair needs, and safety hazards.
    • Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and departmental equipment care.
    • Transport furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Provide courteous assistance and direction to patients, families, and visitors.
    • Participate in required trainings and perform other duties as assigned.

    Who You Are:

    • High school diploma or GED with previous housekeeping or cleaning experience required; or 3-5 additional years of related experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
    • Knowledge of housekeeping practices, infection prevention, and workplace safety.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
    • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
    • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Committed to delivering compassionate service in a hospice setting.
