Description
Housekeeper (Environmental Aide) – Full Time and Part Time available
RiverMead is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Full-time or Part-time. As a Housekeeper (Environmental Aide), you play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to the well-being of others.
Rotating laundry weekend shifts (typically every 4–6 weeks)
$1.50/hour weekend differential from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at midnight.

Responsibilities
Perform daily and routine housekeeping duties in apartments, cottages, healthcare rooms, and all common areas in accordance with established policies and procedures
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, mop floors, vacuum, dust, and maintain overall cleanliness
Complete annual deep cleanings of apartments and cottages
Maintain adequate supplies in shared bathrooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, tissues)
Pick up, deliver, and change bed linens in apartments and cottages
Keep work areas and housekeeping carts clean, organized, and fully stocked
Ensure equipment is in good working order and report supply needs or equipment repairs to the Team Leader or Director of Housekeeping
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three months of housekeeping experience required; healthcare experience preferred
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and manuals
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with individuals of all ages, especially older adults
