Housekeeper

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

Holiday Inn Express – Plattsburgh, NY

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. Our Housekeepers play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and IHG standards
• Make beds and replace linens and towels
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, guest rooms, and high-touch surfaces
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms
• Restock guest room supplies and amenities
• Remove trash and used linens
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, or lost-and-found items
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in a clean and organized manner
• Assist with cleaning public areas as needed
• Follow hotel safety, security, and sanitation procedures
• Work cooperatively with housekeeping and front desk team members to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right person
• Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to work at a steady pace while maintaining quality standards
• Friendly and professional attitude

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Employees must be able to safely perform the physical duties required to clean and prepare hotel guest rooms.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Daytime hours
• Weekday and weekend availability required
• Schedule may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs
