Key Duties and Responsibilities
Housekeepers perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep spaces sanitary and organized. Common responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing rooms and common areas: This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning windows, furniture, and surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles

. - Bed and linen management: Making beds, changing linens, inspecting for cleanliness, and laundering or treating stained linens

. - Stocking and organizing supplies: Ensuring rooms have necessary items such as toiletries, towels, and minibar supplies, and restocking as needed

. - Specialized cleaning tasks: Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens, polishing surfaces, and handling spills

- Assisting with guest services: Collecting room service trays, preparing rooms for check-in and check-out, and reporting damages or maintenance issues

. - Maintaining equipment: Proper use and upkeep of cleaning tools and machinery
