Position Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of assigned guest rooms while delivering the luxury hospitality standards expected at Thompson Dallas. This role helps create a welcoming, comfortable environment for every guest and includes inspecting completed rooms to ensure they meet brand and quality standards before guest arrival.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to Hyatt and Thompson standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, and all guest room surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and remove trash as needed.
• Inspect completed rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are met.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and guest requests promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked housekeeping cart and storage areas.
• Support the cleanliness of public areas and assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operation and guest experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and guest service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to push and maneuver housekeeping carts, perform repetitive cleaning tasks, and regularly lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
