Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for guests, residents, customers, or staff. The Housekeeper will perform routine and deep-cleaning duties, restock supplies, maintain equipment, and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, countertops, and other fixtures.
• Make beds and change linens, towels, and other bedding as required.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock toiletries, towels, cleaning supplies, and other necessary items.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks when needed.
• Maintain cleaning carts, closets, tools, and equipment in an organized condition.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions and company procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, property damage, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to a supervisor.
• Respect privacy and handle personal belongings with care.
• Follow established cleaning checklists, health and safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests, residents, customers, or coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as required by the position.

Work Environment

This position may require extended periods of standing and physical activity, including bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Employees must follow all applicable safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
