Housekeeping Aide

Location: Lewiston, New York

Facility: Our Lady of Peace

Department: Environmental Service

Schedule: Part - Time | Days

Salary range: $17.25 - $23.70 per hour

• Cleans residents' rooms, including dusting, cleaning fixtures, and dust mopping floors. Also includes collecting and disposing of refuse and regulated medical waste, and performing proper lifting/transfer techniques when moving furniture.

• Cleans residents' work areas throughout the Facility, such as physical therapy and dining areas.

• Makes beds and changes linen.
   
• Performs resident discharge cleaning; wet mops rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas; vacuums offices, hallways, and public areas; cleans high fixtures using a ladder; and transports residents in wheelchairs and geri chairs.

Education:

• H.S Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum Experience: No prior experience or training required-On the job training provided.
• Six (6) months of environmental services experience in a health care Facility, preferred.
