    Position Summary

    The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment throughout the facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
    • Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
    • Clean windows, mirrors, floors, and other assigned areas.
    • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
    • Properly use approved cleaning supplies and equipment.
    • Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and housekeeping standards.
    • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
    • Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.

    Qualifications

    • Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassion, patience, and respect for elderly and disabled residents.
    • Reliable attendance and dependability.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
