Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary

We're looking for a dependable, diligent Housekeeper who takes pride in their work and maintains high cleanliness standards in both private homes and commercial properties. This role covers a wide range of cleaning duties, from routine household upkeep like making beds and doing laundry to custodial services such as restocking restrooms and reporting facility maintenance issues. The ideal candidate has great stamina, a positive and polite disposition, and a flexible schedule that can accommodate nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

General Cleaning (Residential & Commercial)

•       Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard floors and carpets

•       Dust and wipe down desks, shelves, fixtures, counters, and common surfaces

•       Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch surfaces

•       Wash interior and exterior windows, glass partitions, and mirrors

•       Scrub and sanitize all relevant surfaces

•       Handle furniture, appliances, and equipment carefully

•       Monthly deep cleaning of all facilities

•       Weekly trash pickup throughout all locations

•       All locations have kitchens that will require daily walkthrough for cleanliness or after use

Residential-Specific

•       Wash floors, toilets, showers, tubs, driveways, windows, and counters

•       Vacuum upholstery and other dusty surfaces

•       Make beds and fluff pillows

•       Fold and iron clean laundry associated with Airbnb properties

Commercial-Specific

•       Empty trash bins, replace liners, and move waste to designated areas

•       Restock restrooms with paper goods and soap

•       Maintain and organize cleaning supplies

•       Report building maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to management

•       Clean venue spaces before and after events

•       Work closely with Event Coordinator during setup and takedown down of events

Requirements

•       High school diploma or equivalent (preferred by some employers)

•       Prior residential, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred

•       Good knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment

•       Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

•       Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods

•       Reliable transportation to travel between work sites

•       Flexible schedule; will have some evening work every once in a while

•       Polite, respectful disposition and a positive attitude, with respect for clients' homes, property, and workplaces

•       This role will report directly to our Facilities Manager
