Position Overview:

Teddy Morse’s Destination Daytona is currently looking for a  Housekeeping Attendant at the Clarion Inn in Daytona Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to meet high cleanliness standards.
• Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness of hallways and public spaces.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort.
• Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold room quality.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
• Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers or extractors is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and janitorial practices enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills is essential for success in this role.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff can be beneficial for future growth opportunities.
