REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager
FACILITY: Bayfront Convention Center
HOURLY RATE: $13.00 per hour
REQUIREMENT: Must be available to work evenings and weekends

As a Housekeeping Attendant at the Bayfront Convention Center, you’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming environment for every guest. Whether preparing a ballroom for a gala or refreshing meeting spaces between sessions, your work helps make each event shine. If you take pride in staying organized, working hard, and being part of a team behind the scenes—you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

This hands-on position supports the overall cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the convention center:
• Perform full changeover cleaning between events—including vacuuming, dusting, table-wiping, and trash removal
• Operate custodial equipment such as riding/walk-behind floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners
• Assist with laundry duties and general housekeeping needs throughout the facility
• Maintain assigned areas and report any maintenance or supply needs to the supervisor
• Work efficiently to ensure event spaces are clean, presentable, and ready on time
• Collaborate with team members and follow all safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18 years or older
• General knowledge of cleaning methods and safe chemical usage
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for long periods
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Must pass a background/reference check
• Valid driver’s license preferred
