Overview:

The Water's Edge Country Club is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to join our team. This position is tasked with cleaning all club facilities.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, polished, and welcoming environment throughout the clubhouse and member facilities
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, hallways, entrances, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and otherwise maintain floors and surfaces
• Clean and maintain windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other visible surfaces
• Clean and sanitize showers, sinks, toilets, and other restroom and locker room fixtures
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Restock restroom, locker room, and housekeeping supplies, including towels, toiletries, soap, and paper products
• Monitor high-traffic and member areas throughout the day and promptly address cleaning needs
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appropriate odor control throughout the facility
• Respond courteously and professionally to members and guests while performing housekeeping duties
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged fixtures, leaks, safety hazards, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor
• Monitor and communicate inventory needs for cleaning and restroom supplies
• Properly operate, clean, and store housekeeping equipment and supplies
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with established procedures
• Assist with minor facility tasks, such as changing light bulbs, as needed and when appropriate
• Follow all club safety policies, housekeeping procedures, and health and sanitation standards
• Perform additional housekeeping and facility-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable.

• One year of comparable work preferred.

 

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

• Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces.

• Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.

• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.

• Use ladders when required.

• Job has the potential to expose the employee to human blood pathogens or infectious materials.

Salary Range: USD $13.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
