Housekeeping Attendant | Water's Edge Country Club

The Water's Edge Country Club is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to join our team. This position is tasked with cleaning all club facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all clubhouse areas including restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors
• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, toiletries)
• Maintain cleanliness and odor control throughout the day
• Ensure showers, sinks, and fixtures are sanitized and in working order
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for members and guests
• Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleanliness needs promptly
• Track and report cleaning supply needs
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, safety hazards)
• Perform minor tasks such as changing light bulbs if needed
• Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable.

• One year of comparable work preferred.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

• Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces.

• Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.

• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and climbing.

• Use ladders when required.

• Job has the potential to expose the employee to human blood pathogens or infectious materials.
