Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Coordinator to support our Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) operation. This position is responsible for supervising all aspects of facilities housekeeping operations to include routine housekeeping projects, daily office cleaning, post-event cleaning, deep cleaning projects and day-to-day facilities appearance.
This position will be 100% on-site.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff & housekeeping subcontractor.
- Plan, assign, and direct work for housekeeping staff & housekeeping subcontractor.
- Assure proper routine cleanliness for all front of house and back of house spaces.
- Prepare and monitor event spaces and room set-ups to accommodate event needs.
- Inventory of building FF&E assets and janitorial supplies to ensure properly equipped for day-to-day functions and prepared for events.
- Provide information for ordering, stocking, and distribution of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Supervise daily housekeeping, special cleaning projects, deep cleaning projects and post-event cleaning operations.
- Organize all Arena storage rooms to be neat, organized and working order.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems and complaints.
- Act as liaison with tenants, contractors, and facility users as necessary.
- Implement and enforce Trail Drive Management Corp policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in weekly Event Meetings, Operations Meetings and Client/Promoter Meetings representing Will Rogers in a professional manner to understand and facilitate the necessary manpower, equipment and other needs for a successful Event and Operation.
- Assist in annual performance reviews of Operations Staff.
- Assist other departments including but not limited to Parking, Security, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales and Marketing from time to time when necessary for the benefit of specific Events or overall Operation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college in Hospitality, Management or Maintenance Engineering and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in management and/or supervisory position of public assembly facilities
- Any experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Must possess basic computer skills, such as using excel application.
- Ability to conduct quick math calculations using a calculator.
- Previous cashier experience or strong math skills, and ability to make change.
- Must be positive, outgoing, and able to work well with others.
- Must be accountable and maintain accuracy in financial transactions at the work-station.
- Professional appearance required.
- Must maintain a clean, neat, and organized office and inventory space.
Working Conditions:
- Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
- Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
- Employees must be able to work in all weather conditions, rain, snow, hot and cold temperatures.
