Housekeeping


This position is a vital member of the gym staff team. They ensure that the facility is clean and meets the expectations of members.  Housekeepers will be responsible for any combination of light cleaning duties on the gym floor, locker rooms and offices.  


Position Description:

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
• Sweeps, dusts, vacuums, and mops all areas of the gym. 
• Cleans, mops, scrubs, vacuums, and disinfects all bathroom and locker rooms daily. 
• Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms and areas of the workout floor. 
• Empties trash and garbage containers. 
• Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
• Cleans glass on workout floor, front doors, and group fitness rooms
• Cleans and sanitizes tanning rooms
• Dusts desks on main floor and in offices
• Report any broken equipment and record it in the maintenance log
