About the RoleThe Housekeeping Heavy Porter is responsible for cleaning and service all hotel areas and is responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment.Position ResponsibilitiesClean and service all Hotel areas including specifically the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving of furniture and other tasks necessary to ensure our guests experience a pleasing perception when coming to the Ocean Casino Resort .Deliver supplies where needed, e.g. in guest rooms, bathroom tissue, tissues, soap, etc. and other supply closets located throughout the propertyPromptly reports any maintenance problems with equipment or the property and any guest need to Supervisor.Essential FunctionsExposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast pace environmentMust be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the hotel areasMust be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shiftMust be able to push/pull up to 75 poundsMust be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.QualificationsMust be guest oriented.
