The Housekeeping Houseman supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas and assisting room attendants with supplies, linens, and heavy tasks. Union environmentWe are a drug‑free workplace and participate in E‑Verify.Who you will be working withKey ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and back‑of‑house areasCollect, transport, and dispose of trash and soiled linensDeliver clean linens, towels, and amenities to housekeeping closets and guest roomsAssist room attendants with moving furniture, rollaway beds, cribs, and other heavy itemsRestock housekeeping carts, closets, and supply roomsRespond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service callsReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to supervisorsFollow hotel safety, sanitation, and hygiene standardsSupport special cleaning projects as assignedPerform duties of room attendant when necessary.Report missing/found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy.Must be able to work independently and as a team playerRequirementsDue to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including nights, holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
