Job Summary
The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. This role involves inspecting guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure compliance with brand and health standards, providing feedback to housekeeping staff, and coordinating with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
Evaluate housekeeping staff performance, provide coaching, and recommend training to maintain quality standards
Track and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, arranging replenishment as needed
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or discrepancies in room conditions to the appropriate department
Interact with guests to address cleanliness concerns or special requests, ensuring a positive experience
Maintain accurate records of inspections, compliance, and staff performance, reporting findings to management
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to coordinate services and guest needs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Utilize digital inspection tools or tablets to log inspections, capture photographic evidence, and generate trend reports for quality control
