Housekeeping Inspector | The Admiral Hotel

Location: 251 Government Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Pay: $16.50/hour

Status: Full-time

What You'll Do

  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are clean, guest-ready, and meet brand standards.
  • Support, coach, and communicate with Room Attendants throughout each shift.
  • Identify maintenance concerns, safety issues, and quality opportunities.
  • Update room status in Opera and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Assist with daily housekeeping operations, including opening and closing procedures as needed.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Help maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; leadership experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 lbs., and the ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance details throughout the hotel.
