Housekeeping/Janitorial Attendant

Bassham Foods is seeking to hire a Full-Time Houskeeping Attendant. As an important member of our team, the Housekeeping Attendant performs day-to-day housekeeping services by ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.

The Housekeeping Attendant is a Sunday-Thursday position.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as warehouse, restrooms, breakrooms, office and entry areas. Cleaning assignments include:

• Sweeping and mopping all floors; spot clean as needed and vacuums carpets and runners.
• Clean and sanitizes restroom stalls, toilets and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary.
• Clean, organize and sanitize areas.
• Dusts surfaces in offices, warehouses and products.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition, using only approved cleaning materials.
• Collects trash from work areas receptacles and disposes in dumpsters.
• Ensures cleaning chemicals are properly labeled and stored when not in use.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Housekeeping Attendant is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, grasp/hold, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Housekeeping Attendant is frequently required to climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Housekeeping Attendant is occasionally required to sit.
• Housekeeping Attendant must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
