What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. Every day brings the opportunity to create a welcoming environment where guests feel cared for from the moment they enter their room.

Working as part of a collaborative Housekeeping team, you will clean and prepare guest rooms, replenish amenities, inspect rooms for quality, and report maintenance concerns to ensure every room is guest-ready. You will also assist with deep cleaning projects and support hotel operations while delivering service that reflects The Westgate Hotel's tradition of excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• • Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel housekeeping standards and productivity expectations.
• Make beds and refresh linens according to established procedures and training standards.
• Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Dust, vacuum, and clean furniture, windows, balconies, and all guest room surfaces.
• Replace towels, linens, guest amenities, and supplies to ensure rooms are fully stocked.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout every guest room.
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, or unusual conditions to supervisors or dispatch promptly.
• Report and turn in all Lost & Found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Keep housekeeping carts, service areas, and storage closets clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as business needs require.
• Attend daily housekeeping line-up meetings and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and acknowledge every guest with courtesy and professionalism.
• Follow all housekeeping safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to clean a minimum of 13 guest rooms during an eight-hour shift while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Professional appearance and conduct consistent with luxury hospitality standards.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stretch while cleaning guest rooms.
• Ability to push and pull fully loaded housekeeping carts throughout the property.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining quality standards.
