    Midas Hospitality is seeking an Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our team at the Aloft hotel located in Milwaukee, WI. This position requires someone with prior hotel experience, and a detailed understanding of housekeeping standards.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Room Inspection

    • Inspect cleaned guest rooms for cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards.
    • Ensure all guest rooms are properly stocked with required amenities and supplies.
    • Identify deficiencies and communicate needed corrections to Room Attendants.
    • Re-inspect rooms after corrections have been completed.
    • Report maintenance issues to Engineering through established procedures.
    • Prioritize inspection of VIP, early arrival, and high-priority guest rooms.
    • Maintain inspection records and communicate trends to the Executive Housekeeper.

    Room Attendant Duties (Three Days Per Week)

    • Clean assigned guest rooms according to Marriott and hotel standards.
    • Perform a thorough self-inspection before marking rooms as complete.
    • Restock carts and maintain housekeeping storage areas.
    • Report maintenance concerns and lost-and-found items.
    • Maintain productivity and quality expectations while ensuring guest satisfaction.

    General Responsibilities

    • Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Assist fellow team members as business needs require.
    • Follow all hotel safety, security, and housekeeping procedures.
    • Provide exceptional service by supporting a positive guest experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

    Qualifications

    • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout an entire shift.
    • Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude.

    Physical Requirements

    • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
    • Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly.
    • Push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

    Reporting Relationship

    Reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

    Schedule

    This position typically follows a hybrid schedule:

    • Three (3) days per week: Clean an assigned board of guest rooms while self-inspecting completed rooms.
    • Two (2) days per week: Perform quality inspections of guest rooms without an assigned cleaning board. Schedule and responsibilities may vary based on occupancy and business needs.
