Job Description
The Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Center (RCPAC) is seeking a loyal employee dedicated to working behind the scenes to assist with event set up, janitorial work, and maintenance of the Raleigh Convention Center.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as determined by venue events. You will be able to effectively perform janitorial functions to maintain venue cleanliness and set up facility equipment and furnishings to support events. You efficiently take down facility equipment and furnishings while returning all items to appropriate locations, ensuring items are clean and operable for future use, and/or reporting any damage to supervisor. Good customer service skills are required to provide face-to-face customer service to facility users and guests.

The Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Center (RCPAC) has an amazing team of people who operate four unique venues - Raleigh Convention Center, Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, Red Hat Amphitheater, and Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek. Our goal is to shine and lead the way for others in our industry and provide exciting events to the City of Raleigh, including touring shows, concerts, unique conventions, festivals, and expos. Work Hours:
Some mornings, weekends & holidays required. Shifts will vary according to event schedule.

Typical Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency, less than 1 year experience in custodial, general maintenance, labor or related work
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted

Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an office or similar indoor environment. Employees may occasionally work in an outdoor environment.
