Who You Are:

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate is respectful, compassionate, and professional when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow established cleaning, sanitation, infection prevention, and safety procedures, and complete assignments efficiently. Previous housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Coordinator, the Housekeeping Specialist is primarily responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, residential units, rest rooms, offices, and furniture. In accordance with federal, state and local standards and guidelines, and as may be directed by the Manager of Plant Operations to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. To assure that our community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. The associate must be able to work in a 24-hour operation.

Accountabilities:

• Follows outlined daily and weekly cleaning and deep cleaning schedules
• Performs general cleaning duties in resident rooms and common areas
• Follow established policies governing infection control
• Maintain an organized work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards
• Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors
• Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary or as directed
