Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including rooms, restrooms, common spaces, and other facilities as needed
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and remove trash according to established standards
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or equipment issues
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards
- Work independently or with a team to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests, residents, or coworkers
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistent standards
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
