Housekeeping Supervisor

Homewood Suites is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor / Laundry to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure our facility maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.



The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail and is comfortable working alongside staff to ensure high standards are consistently maintained.



Responsibilities



Housekeeping

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities
• Assign rooms, areas, and cleaning duties to housekeeping staff
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping employees
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request supplies as needed
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment
• Address cleaning concerns and follow up to ensure issues are resolved
• Maintain appropriate infection-control, sanitation, and safety standards
• Assist with cleaning duties when needed, especially during busy periods
• Maintain housekeeping schedules and ensure adequate staffing

Laundry

• Oversee daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and other items
• Ensure linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry are properly sorted and processed
• Monitor laundry quality and ensure items are clean, properly dried, folded, and stored
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens throughout the facility
• Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment
• Monitor laundry supplies and submit requests for replenishment
• Follow proper procedures for handling soiled or contaminated laundry
• Identify damaged or worn items and coordinate replacement as needed
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality experience required
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable performing hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management

Schedule & Compensation

• Position: Full-time
• Schedule: Flexible
• Pay: ($19-21)Depending on experience
