Housekeeping Supervisor - Boulan Hotel

Overall Scope & Responsibility:Supervise the overall functions of the Housekeeping Department. Ensure room and inventory control. Work closely with Front office department to meet guest requests and hotel demand.  Essential Duties:Open housekeeping: check rooms inventory, assign rooms to room/suite attendants.Inspect rooms, showrooms, VIP and suites.Complete reports, verify status reports; report clean suites to hotel front deskand/ or load into automated property management systems.Communicate discrepancies with Front Desk.Monitor payroll reports and work schedules.Monitor lost and found program.Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies.Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.Promote team member loyalty and empowerment.Communicate and coordinate with Engineering the repair and maintenanceprograms as related to guestrooms and public areas.Monthly linen inventory.Ensure special guest requests are followed though.Manage the daily flow of the Department. Job Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.Must be able to carry 10 lbs.Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills.Consistent record of meeting sales, customer service and operations objectives.Proven ability to influence a team and achieve results.Flexibility and creative problem-solving ability.Strong initiative and self-motivation.Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace.Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment.Excellent management and leadership skills.Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
