Housekeeping Supervisor

Herschend is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to help build a unique guest experience for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate leads with heart for hospitality and has an exceptional talent for orchestrating seamless guest experiences. With equal parts integrity, creativity and operational expertise, this team member will ensure SongTeller delivers service that’s as genuine and memorable as Dolly herself.

The Housekeeping Supervisor position offers an extraordinary opportunity to propel the arrival experience excellence and hospitality identity for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. This role will personalize all aspects of the hotels welcome moment, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the seamless, authentic, and memorable experience guests expect of SongTeller Hotel. This role will be highly rewarding for a visionary, hands-on and guest-focused Host with a demonstrated history of building strong relationships and operating with excellence while driving timeless and unforgettable guest experiences.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Deliver a warm, genuine, and memorable welcome to every guest, embodying Southern hospitality with a touch of Dolly-inspired charm, humility, and personality 
• Oversee daily Housekeeping operations ensuring all linens, uniforms, and guest items meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards 
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver consistent, high-quality results 
• Lead the turndown service the hotel offers and working closely with team members to make the guest experience as memorable as possible 
• Coordinate with housekeeping, laundry and other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean items 
• Empower the team to go above and beyond, respond to guest feedback with grace, and always find a way to add that extra sparkle. 
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to avoid service disruptions 
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards 
• Monitor productivity and efficiency to meet hotel occupancy demands 
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe facilities 
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with the hotel’s values of care, pride, and hospitality 
• Uphold luxury service standards and brand voice, ensuring every interaction feels personal—not transactional 
• Deliver a consistent, high-quality presentation of rooms including linens, amenities, and cleanliness 
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient room turnover during high occupancy 
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards 
• Represent the hotel’s culture of kindness, pride, and attention to detail in every room serviced 
• Maintain high standards at all times while on property. Including, full uniform, welcoming demeanor, no personal devices at anytime, food/beverage, and any other items as directed by senior leadership. 
• Collaborate with all hotel team members to ensure above and beyond service in all areas. 
• Utilize operational systems such as Opera, Opera Cloud*, Hotel Effectiveness, Microsoft Office, Chargerback, HotSoS and other hotel systems to optimize performance, and maintain operational transparency.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in housekeeping operations required; supervisory experience preferred 

• Strong leadership and team management skills 

• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards 

• Ability and willing to clean rooms when needed 

• Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling 25–50 lbs 

• Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities 

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle laundry loads 

• Understanding of safety and sanitation regulations 

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset 

• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays 

• PM shifts required
