We are seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to support our housekeeping team and help ensure every guest room meets our hotel’s cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards.
This role is primarily responsible for inspecting guest rooms and suites, identifying areas that need correction, and working closely with Suitekeepers to ensure rooms are clean, properly supplied, and ready for arriving guests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and comfortable providing respectful, constructive feedback to team members.
What You’ll Do
Inspect guest rooms to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
Verify that rooms are properly cleaned, stocked, maintained, and ready for guest arrival.
Communicate inspection results and necessary corrections to Suitekeepers.
Reinspect rooms as needed to confirm that identified concerns have been addressed.
Help coordinate daily room assignments and prioritize rooms based on guest arrivals and operational needs.
Monitor room status and communicate updates with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams.
Support, coach, and provide direction to housekeeping associates throughout the shift.
Report maintenance concerns, damages, lost-and-found items, and safety issues.
Assist with cleaning guest rooms or public areas when operationally necessary.
Help maintain linen rooms, housekeeping closets, equipment, and supplies.
Follow hotel policies and safety procedures, including the proper handling of cleaning products and equipment.
Assist housekeeping leadership with daily operations, training, and other responsibilities as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required.
Previous supervisory, lead, or room inspection experience strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance concerns quickly and accurately.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to provide clear, professional, and respectful direction to team members.
Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Basic computer or hotel room-management system experience is helpful.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Schedule
This is a full-time, primarily daytime position. Weekend and holiday availability is required based on hotel and business needs. Scheduled hours and days may vary.
