Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department at The Lake Estate. This position ensures that the hotel's cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest level, providing guests with a comfortable and pleasant environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities, including room turnover, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.Train, mentor, and lead a team of housekeeping staff to achieve and maintain high standards of cleanliness.Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and maintenance standards.Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to optimize efficiency and coverage.Manage and control the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.Collaborate with other hotel departments to address guest requests and special requirements.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols within the housekeeping department.Handle guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.Assist in the recruitment and training of new housekeeping team members. EDUCATION & SKILLSPrevious experience in housekeeping or in a related field, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.Proficiency in basic computer skills. BENEFITSCompetitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefits.Opportunities for professional development and training.A dynamic and inclusive work environment.
