Must have or be actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Experience preferred but not required
Must be able to be on your feet all shift, walking, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, carrying
Excellent customer service, positive attitude and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to prioritize along with excellent organizational skills
Must pass background check and drug test including test for marijuana
Responsibilities
In all areas of the hospital, perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting services including emptying trash cans, cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and changing bed linens
Exhibit a professional demeanor and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times
Move furniture and other heavy objects for routine & non-routine cleaning and when assisting in patient moves
Use equipment and supplies properly and report needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individual
Multitask and stick to a schedule while also responding to incidents as they occur throughout the day
