About the Role
You will lead and manage a team of housekeepers in a co‑living environment, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and harmony across communal living spaces while supporting a sense of community.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Supervision & Training Train, guide, and supervise housekeeping staff in cleaning procedures tailored to co‑living spaces. Conduct daily briefing sessions, set task objectives, and monitor performance. Coach new team members to maintain consistency and quality standards.
• Operations & Scheduling Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and deep‑clean schedules across private and communal areas like kitchens, bathrooms, lounges, corridors, and pantries. Allocate tasks efficiently among housekeeping team members based on occupancy and seasonal needs.
• Quality & Inspections Conduct regular inspections to certify cleaning standards are met or exceeded. Resolve any hygiene-related or resident-service issues proactively and document corrective actions.
• Inventory & Supplies Maintain inventory of cleaning products, linens, and equipment; forecast needs and place orders. Allocate consumables and monitor stock usage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Coordination & Communication Act as the liaison between housekeeping, community management, residents, and maintenance/repairs teams. Report incidents, maintenance issues, and lost‑and‑found items promptly.
• Administration Maintain daily logs, team attendance records, supply requisitions, and cleaning reports. Prepare performance and inventory reports for operational leadership.
• Staff Management & Wellbeing Motivate the housekeeping team through coaching sessions, feedback, and recognition. Address and manage any conflicts or performance issues within the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Education
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in housekeeping supervision, ideally in multi-unit or shared-living environments like serviced apartments or co‑living spaces. Diploma or degree in hospitality or property management is an advantage.
