As a member of our Housekeeping Team, you will play an essential role in maintaining the exceptional standards of one of South Floridas premier private clubs.     Position Summary

    The Housekeeping Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and sanitation of all clubhouse facilities. This position requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to providing an exceptional member experience.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all clubhouse public areas.
    • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, fitness center, dining areas, offices, and other member spaces.
    • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, and disinfect all assigned areas.
    • Replenish paper products, soaps, towels, and other restroom and locker room amenities.
    • Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the property.
    • Clean windows, mirrors, glass, furniture, fixtures, and drinking fountains.
    • Perform floor care including mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and spot cleaning.
    • Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
    • Maintain housekeeping storage areas and cleaning equipment in an organized manner.
    • Follow all cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Work closely with all departments to ensure the clubhouse is always presentation-ready for members and events.

    Monday Deep Cleaning

    As the clubhouse is closed to members on Mondays, the housekeeping team performs scheduled deep cleaning projects including:

    • Detailed floor care
    • Window and glass cleaning
    • Carpet extraction and spot treatment
    • High dusting
    • Furniture detailing
    • Locker room deep sanitation
    • Fitness equipment detailing
    • Other seasonal and preventative cleaning projects

    Qualifications

    • Previous housekeeping, custodial, hotel, country club, or hospitality experience preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Positive attitude with a hospitality-first mindset.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
    • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Flexibility to assist with special events and seasonal operational needs.

    Schedule

    This is a full-time position with rotating schedules that include weekends and holidays.

    Typical shifts include:

    • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    • 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

    Weekend and holiday availability is required as part of a rotating schedule.
