Qualifications:

• Housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to perform multiple and daily routine tasks with attention to detail
• Must be able to follow both written and verbal detailed instructions
• Demonstrates a reasonable level of energy and maintains a positive attitude
• Has a demonstrated history of flexibility under changing conditions
• Must be able to prioritize and organize work schedule and tasks

This position is responsible for performing housekeeping duties that result in a clean, safe, healthy, and comfortable environment in the non-licensed areas, and occasionally the licensed areas, of the Village.

Position Outcomes

• Perform cleaning function and maintain order
• Perform housekeeping duties following guidelines established in training, policies and procedures, and good housekeeping standards
• Prioritize and organize cleaning duties in accordance with facility policy and in coordination with other housekeepers and Resident needs
• Use housekeeping supplies efficiently and follow proper care and use guidelines of housekeeping equipment
• Attend mandatory in-services and training programs for housekeeping
• Follow material safety data sheets (MSDS) and facility safety policies
• Follow oral and written instructions
