Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07206Pay Range: $17.88 per hourJob OverviewThe Housekeeping Worker is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, nursing units, clinical/waiting areas, rest rooms, elevators, and corridors. The individual will sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum and perform other janitorial functions as instructed. The Housekeeping Worker will take the lead in performing all phases of Environmental Services in the assigned unit and perform the specific tasks in the absence of a supervisor.QualificationsAbility to speak, write, read, and understand the English language.Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.Annual Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements.Experienced in environmental service work, burnishing floors, and cleaning equipment.
