Title: Housekeeping Worker

Campus Location: Radford City - Main Campus

Work Authorization: Radford University employs individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Applicants requiring new H-1B visa sponsorship will not be considered.

Job Description: To provide housekeeping services and special floor care maintenance throughout campus facilities and in support of university functions to ensure a sanitary and safe environment. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment supplies and assigned keys.

Required Qualifications: Knowledge of general housekeeping cleaning and cleaning equipment. Ability to accomplish a physically challenging occupation. Ability to understand and follow all safety precautions and work related directions. Ability to lift 50 pounds and move 25 pounds. Ability to communicate and work in a team effort. Semi-skilled in the operation of housekeeping powered equipment. Must have expert customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to effectively read and write is desired. Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping preferred. Valid drivers license desired.
