Job Title: Houseman / House Person Department: Housekeeping Pay Rate: \$16.00 / hr. Part-time Job Summary: The Houseman/House Person at Residence Inn by Marriott plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the hotel?s public areas and supporting the housekeeping team. This position ensures guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, fitness center, laundry rooms, and restrooms - Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, cribs, rollaway beds, and guest-requested items promptly - Stock and organize housekeeping closets and storage areas on each floor - Remove trash, debris, and recyclables from guest floors and service areas - Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly, professional manner in line with Marriott\'s service standards - Assist with room inspections and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management - Support laundry operations as needed, including transporting linens to and from laundry areas - Help set up meeting rooms or common areas when required - Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and stored safely - Follow all Marriott brand standards, safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus, but not required - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Core Competencies: - Guest-focused mindset - Reliability and strong work ethic - Time management and efficiency - Team collaboration - Professional appearance and demeanor Work Environment: - Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods - Indoor and occasional outdoor work - Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment Why Work at Residence Inn by Marriott: - Opportunity to be part of a globally recognized brand - Team-oriented work environment - Employee discounts on Marriott properties worldwide - Opportunities for growth and advancement within Marriott International For more information and how to apply Email: Claudio.santos@bk-investments.com Walk-in\'s are also welcome.
